Local actress Jacelyn Tay has split with her husband of eight years.The couple is in the final stage of divorce proceedings, Tay, 43, wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday (Nov 18).
"Don't worry, Zavier and I are fine," she reassured her friends and fans.The announcement may come as a surprise to many, for the couple appeared to be the picture of domestic bliss as they celebrated their son's academic achievements in Tay's Instagram post earlier this week.
Tay, however, did not divulge the reason for the split, saying, "I do not think I owe anyone the reason for divorce except to my son."
"Even if you guys know, you can't help or change anything for us."In the post, she shared a photo of herself sending her seven-year-old child off at the airport. Father and son are said to be flying off to Europe for a holiday.
"If you truly love us and want to give support, just give a Like and pray for us. Thank you for your love," she wrote. Within an hour, the post received over 3,000 likes.
